HIJAAMAH: a healing from the sunnah
Sa'eed Ibn Jubayr from Ibn 'Abbaas (Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (upon him be peace) said: "Healing is in three things:
drinking honey, the incision of a cupper, and the cauterising with fire, but I forbid my Ummah to use cauterising."
[al-Bukhari]
"Whoever revives an aspect of my Sunnah that is forgotten after my death, he will have a reward equivalent to that of the people
who follow him, without it detracting in the least from their reward."
[al-Tirmidhi]
