ACTIVE DAYS A Summer Camp for young men  Ages 14 - 22 18th - 25th August (excluding Friday) Timings: 2:00-6:00 PM Enrollment day: Sunday,18th August (Enrollment day Free to attend, parents welcome) Venue: Stirchley Community Centre, 1326 - 1344 Pershore Road, Birmingham, B30 2XS   ACTIVE DAYS is a 7 days interactive summer camp for young men that want to maximize their holidays with a programme designed to engage them physically, mentally and spiritually. Our aim is to reconnect today's youth to Islam and to explore the means of achieving success in this life and the Hereafter. FEATURING SPORTS & ACTIVITIES! Including Table-tennis, Badminton, Handball, Football, and loads of indoor activities. Football matches will be played on the University of Birmingham pitches. WHAT WILL I LEARN? Learning will be imparted through three modules: Qur'an What place should the Qur'an have in our life? This module will offer inspiring lessons from one surah of the Quran. Lives of the Companions What was it like to live amongst the Blessed Messenger and his glorious companions, may Allah be Pleased with them all? Join us as we rediscover the inspirational stories of the companions with a special focus on character building.  Youth Lifestyles This module offers a better understanding of the problems faced by the youth of today. About Tazkiyah Academy Tazkiyah Academy (for men) is a non-profit and non-political institute dedicated to Islamic learning and spirituality, founded by Shaykh Kamaluddin Ahmed. Our courses highlight the importance of spiritual purification (tazkiyah) and inner reform (islah). Your instructors and coordinators include recent graduates of the University of Birmingham and Cambridge.
